A Message from the Peddlers
What a beautiful place to ride:
In most of the country the winter brings nothing but cold and gloom and, with the change of seasons, bikes are stored to collect dust until spring brings some relief. In most of the country, too, the availability of world class biking roads accessible from your doorstep is sparse. Yet northern California is a culmination of these two factors which provides a great reward for those who hop on their bike and explore.
In this message from the peddlers, we wanted to show an appreciation for what we sometimes take for granted and hope that others will join us as we continue to find new trails and marvel at the beauty that surrounds us.
Planned Rides:
This month finds the members of the Peddlers isolated from each other. Christian will continue to explore Santa Cruz while Oliver will be biking throughout the peninsula. Kalen will be pursuing some elevation training in Colorado (assuming he can bare the cold) and finally Kenan will spend his time on the roads of Sothern california
Our weekly goal for this month is a minimum are 50 miles with a target elevation gain of 4K. WE also hope to get a couple bigger rides in to train our bodies towards longer endurance.
Community Service
We do not have any organized community service, but will we continue to pick up trash on the trails.
